Exhibition at L'Impasse, Paris - April 2016

This exhibition took place at L’impasse and is all about the different points of view of The Philippines that breaks the standard and the vision people have about this wonderful touristic destination. The serie is composed of 13 pictures, all in black and white except one. That colored one is the dream version of what we usually think about the country: all about the ocean and the dreamy and beach vibes. The others, in black and white, are the representation of the same country, but in different moments. The goal is to find beauty where the trend doesn’t necessary appears. All the photographs were taken on the island of Leyte, where my mother is originally from. “My main island”.

Thanks to the artists collective Vitae Paris, I was able to make this happen!
